Wir laden euch herzlich ein zu einem Online-Vortrag mit Forrest und Beatrix von ZINE COOP live aus Hongkong. Die beiden werden von ihrer Arbeit erzählen, den Protesten in Honkong 2019 und der Situation jetzt. Außerdem werden sie ausgewählte Zines aus der BURNING IXXUES Sammlung vorstellen, die zuletzt im FLORIDA ausgestellt war. Im Anschluss gibt es die Möglichkeit Fragen zu stellen. Das Gespräch wird auf Englisch stattfinden, wir können aber gerne für euch Fragen übersetzen. Wir freuen uns!
ZINE COOP (seit 2017) ist ein unabhängiges Publishing-Kollektiv in Hongkong. Sie produzieren und sammeln Zines und vermitteln diese über Workshops und Ausstellungen. ZINE COOP ist nicht hierarchisch organisiert und heißt alle Interessierten willkommen auf ihre eigene Weise beizutragen. Aktuelle aktive Mitglieder sind Atom Cheung, Beatrix Pang, Forrest Lau, Jason Li und Ranee Ng. Sie sind geographisch über Hongkong, Japan und Kanada verstreut, aber im Geiste vereint.

We cordially invite you to an online talk with Forrest and Beatrix from ZINE COOP live from Hong Kong. They will talk about their work, the Hong Kong protests in 2019 and the situation now. They will also present selected zines from the BURNING IXXUES collection that was recently on display at FLORIDA. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to ask questions. The talk will be in English, but we will be happy to translate questions for you. We are looking forward to it!
ZINE COOP is an independent publishing collective based in Hong Kong. They collect and educate, while curating zine publications, workshops, and exhibitions. Founded in 2017, ZINE COOP operate without a fixed or hierarchical membership system, and welcome all interested parties to contribute in their own way. Current active members are Atom Cheung, Beatrix Pang, Forrest Lau, Jason Li, and Ranee Ng. They are geographically scattered across Hong Kong, Japan, and Canada, but united in spirit.
