Im Juni und Juli ist Kommunikationsdesignerin und Illustratorin Sophia O’David für eine Arbeitsresidency im FLORIDA zu Gast. Ihre künstlerischen medienübergreifenden Arbeiten entstehen oft in Zusammenarbeit mit antirassistischen Projekten wie Black-Lives-Matter oder der Kampagne N-Wort-stoppen. Für das Foto-und Rechercheprojekt „Breadwinners“ von Priscillia Grubo, das im März 2023 im FLORIDA gezeigt wurde, hat Sophia O’David das Ausstellungsbuch und die Grafiken entworfen. Nun ist Sophia O’David selbst im FLORIDA zu Gast als Artist in Residency und arbeitet an der Dokumentation einer Programmreihe der Galerie Einwand, die sich mit der Gegenwart und Geschichte der Migration befasst.
Im Florida-Fenetre werden Arbeiten von Sophia O’David zu sehen sein.

In June and July, communication designer and illustrator Sophia O’David will be a guest at FLORIDA for a working residency. Her artistic cross-media works are often created in collaboration with anti-racist projects such as Black Lives Matter or the N-Word Stop campaign. For the photography and research project „Breadwinners“ by Priscillia Grubo, shown at FLORIDA in March 2023, Sophia O’David designed the exhibition book and graphics. Now, Sophia O’David herself is a guest artist in residence at FLORIDA, working to document a series of programs at Einwand Gallery that explore the present and history of migration.
Work by Sophia O’David will be on view in the Florida fenetre.
