Slingshot Hip Hop verbindet die Geschichten junger Palästinenser, die im Gazastreifen, im Westjordanland und innerhalb Israels leben – wie sie den Hip Hop für sich entdecken und ihn als Mittel einsetzen, um die durch Besatzung und Armut auferlegten Grenzen zu überwinden. Von internen Kontrollpunkten und Trennmauern bis hin zu Geschlechternormen und Generationsunterschieden – dieser Film erzählt die Geschichte junger Menschen, die die Grenzen überwinden, die sie trennen.
Wir starten mit dem Film um 18:30, der Eintrittt ist frei. Getränke und Snacks gibt es vor Ort.

Slingshot Hip Hop braids together the stories of young Palestinians living in Gaza, the West Bank and inside Israel as they discover Hip Hop and employ it as a tool to surmount divisions imposed by occupation and poverty. From internal checkpoints and Separation Walls to gender norms and generational differences, this is the story of young people crossing the borders that separate them.
We start with the movie at 6:30 pm, admission is free. Drinks and snacks are available as well.
