Ein Gespräch über das Öffentliche, das Fenster, das Schauen und das Lesen mit Anna Lena von Helldorff, Paulina Nolte, Raphael Daibert, Theo Thönnessen, dem Lothringer13_Florida Komitee und Gästen. Das Gespräch findet auf Deutsch und Englisch statt
Wir stellen uns das so vor: ein Tisch in einer Parklücke vor dem Schaufenster, ein Sonnenschirm, kalte Sommergetränke, Snacks und als spezielles Extra: Books for free! Zur Auswahl stehen seltene Künstler*innenpublikationen, sehr gute Bücher, Klassiker der Theorie und fette Kunstkatalogschinken.
Das Florida_Fenêtre ist ein in regelmäßigen Abständen von Künstler*innen bespieltes Fenster in der Lothringer Straße 13.
Die Florida_Bibliothek speist sich aus deprivatisierten Buchbeständen und eigenen Ankäufen mit angegliedertem Archiv für Gegenöffentlichkeiten. Schwerpunkte sind Kunst und kritische Theorie, aber auch Belletristik.

A conversation about the public, the window, looking and reading with Anna Lena von Helldorff, Paulina Nolte, Theo Thönnessen, Raphael Daibert, the Lothringer13_Florida committee and guests. The conversation will take place in German and English.
We imagine it this way: a table in a parking space in front of the Fenêtre, a parasol, cold summer drinks, snacks and as a special extra: Books for free! You can choose from rare artist’s publications, just very good books, classics of theory and heavy art catalogues. All books stem from the Florida_Library.
The Florida_Fenêtre is an exhibition window at Lothringer Strasse 13.
The Florida_Library is fed by deprivatised book stocks and own purchases, with an associated archive for counter-publics. The focus is on art and critical theory, but also on fiction.
