Da weiterhin ein wesentlicher Bestandteil der Arbeit im FLORIDA nur sehr eingeschränkt stattfinden kann — das persönliche Miteinander vor Ort — möchten wir in einem experimentellen Online-Format gegenseitigen Austausch/Unterstützung fördern. Dafür laden wir zu den jeweiligen Terminen vier Teilnehmer*innen ein, sich kennenzulernen und gemeinsam Strategien im Umgang mit den fortdauernden Ungewissheiten und Bedrohungen zu entwickeln. Eingeladen werden Künstler*innen, die sich in verschiedener Form mit der Frage auseinandersetzen, wie sie Räume/Bedingungen schaffen können, die anderen helfen, sich wohlzufühlen. In diesem Online-Format soll genau so ein Raum für die Gäst*innen entstehen.
Die Idee ist angelehnt an die Bar Zur Einsamkeit von Jan Erbelding und Maria VMier, die im Sommer 2020 manchmal im Keller der Lothringer 13 Halle während der Ausstellung This House is not a Home des K Kollektivs stattgefunden hat. Es ging dort vor allem darum, eine entspannte Atmosphäre für die jeweiligen Gäste zu schaffen, für gute Gespräche oder auch nur um zu fragen: “wie geht’s dir eigentlich?”. Wir haben deshalb auch Jan eingeladen, für uns als „Karten Wizzard“ ??? Motive aus den Post Corona Councelling Cards zu ziehen, die wir auch dort als Gesprächsimpuls genutzt haben.
Es ist uns ein Anliegen (und auch ein Vorteil durch die örtliche Unabhängigkeit der Teilnehmer*innen) Stimmen von außerhalb Münchens mit lokalen Akteur*innen zu verbinden und neue Netzwerke der gegenseitigen Sorge zu erkunden. Aus dem Format sollen Beiträge für das nächste FLORIDA Magazin entstehen.

Since an essential part of the work in FLORIDA can only take place to a very limited extent — the personal togetherness on site — we would like to promote mutual exchange/support in an experimental online format. For this purpose, we invite four participants to the respective dates to get to know each other and to jointly develop strategies for dealing with the ongoing uncertainties and threats. Invited are artists who, in various ways, are addressing the question of how one can create spaces/conditions that help others feel safe and comfortable. This online format aims to create just such a space for the guests.
The idea is based on the bar Zur Einsamkeit by Jan Erbelding and Maria VMier, which sometimes took place in the basement of the Lothringer 13 Halle during the exhibition This House is not a Home (2020). The main point there was to create a friendly atmosphere for the guests, for good conversations or just to ask: „how are you?“. That’s why we also invited Jan to be our Card Wizzard and draw ??? motifs from the Post Corona Councelling Cards, which we also used there as a conversation starter.
It is our concern (and also an advantage due to the local independence of the participants) to connect voices from outside Munich with local actors and to explore new networks of mutual care. The format will result in contributions for the next FLORIDA magazine.
